Ultras Group

Birkirkara Ultras 1997 (BU97) was founded in 25 February 1997, when a group of loyal Birkirkara supporters who had the ultras mentality in them, decided to rally all the supporters and form a reliable group. The aim was to give constant support during all Birkirkara matches in Malta, and in UEFA competitions. The group started off with just a few boys, but now it has grown to a large group. This group organises the support in every match, using banners, flags, flares and continuous support by chanting and singing. The group is in no way connected to Birkirkara FC, and is a free independent group. No funds have ever been given to the ultras group by the club. Funds are made by selling merchandise and donations from members.
